My Story
I am a Christ-follower, family guy, pastor, leader, and personal leadership coach. I’m the founding and lead pastor of Heartland Church in Winter Haven, FL. I’m also the founding principle of QUEST Coaching Solutions, Inc., a life, leadership, and executive coaching company.
Outside of my relationship with Christ, and love for my family, there is nothing I enjoy more than helping others in their pursuit of a purposeful and productive life. God has graciously provided me with the calling, passion, experience, and education to help others Live Forward!
My Passion
My passion and calling is to help others realize their potential and become the best version of themselves that God has created them to be. And, I am a firm believer that life doesn’t get better by chance … it gets better by choice. One has to make the right choices and live an intentional life to achieve success and live their God-intended purpose.
As a Pastor and devout Christian I also believe that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the foundation upon which all genuine success in life is built. I’m passionate about my relationship with Jesus, and my Christian faith defines my personal worldview.

My Family
The biggest blessing I have been granted in life is my family. I have been married to my wife Nancy for more than 40 years. We have one daughter, Lauren and our son-in-law Chance. We have two incredible grandchildren, Colton and Kenzie. Oh yea, I can’t leave out Tiffany, our diva cat.

I have spent my adult life as an entrepreneur, business owner, banking executive, city mayor, church planter, and pastor. My desire to help others, coupled with my life, ministry, and secular work experience has led me to become certified as a Human Behavior Consultant and a Life and Leadership Coach. I have also obtained a Doctor of Ministry degree in Leadership with an emphasis in coaching.
